Anyone know anything about realism in CoD ? Will it be silly like MOH's or will it be something worth the name "realism".

Of course there are third-party realisms, but this is troublesome when arranging ladders, etc.

Might be a silly question, but have you played the demo(s)? Should be able to draw your own conclusions from that really.

Well, I found the demos a little too hectic to wander around testshooting the different weapons against the axis

IW seemed to have tried very hard to make this game as realistic as they can, so I'm thinking its going to be pretty good. Then again, I thought that in Medal Of Honour, when realism was on, it wasn't so bad.

Latest issue of PCGamer , Dec 2003 issue that also includes the latest demo has a review on CoD final

The touch a bit on location based damage as well as shrapnel from grenades. They talk a bit on how you could be hiding behind a wall but your legs are sticking out. You could still die if your not completely concealed by a grenade

As always, the community can always add more realism to the mix.

I will be releasing a realism mod for CoD, but until the game ships, I'm not sure what will be tweaked. As the previous poster said, there is location based damage as well as some other nifty tweaks that we did not have in MOH. If they release a mp demo, we'll have a much better product when the game itself comes out, but we'll see. If you want more info, go to http://www.autokick.com.
