I just wanted to put a FYI out there that, if you didn't know already you can connect BT Retail EXP. to a SP 2.15 linux server. Also i have figured out a way to play the BT maps on a Spearhead 2.15 linux server. the directions are here in the zip file along with my server.cfg.

http://www.angelfire.com/amiga2/chucknet/Linux_temp_server.zip

unfortunatly the landmines don't work, but I was able to get the BT maps and some custom maps running in my rotation.

The only reason I did what I did is because I am one of those people who just can't wait and wanted to play those maps on my server.

I don't suggest this method for everyone or a server that people would rent. but it does work if you really wanna play those BT maps on a linux server without takeing and converting them from BT to SP and don't mind the other issues.

Ya having that problem too, I was surrprised, it wasnt as laggy as I expected, this could be good news when a BT linux script is released.

One other problem is I cant get it to show up in GSA under BT section, it shows in ASE & HLSW ok but as a SH server, that was to be expected as its launched as a SH server.

Ill have a look at the server more closely tomorrow, just got in from work so kinda wrecked right now.

Oh ya were you able to get Liberation mode working, I never set the cfg file for that yet, but couldnt call it from rcon when I first upped the server.
