hello,

im looking for a neat little sound mod i came across a few weeks ago on someones server i cannot remember. it was the stali map, but every few minutes you would hear an air raid siren, followed by a a nazi shouting thru a megaphone.

i have searched *everywhere...using google, forums etc, and have had no luck. i posted this request onto alliedassault a few days ago, but theyve been down so i cant check it =P

it was a great little effect that really added to the ambiance of the map, and id love to run it. if anyone has it, or know what exactly it is, id be greatful!

open yr map using winrar then click on the file called map in here u will see the scr file
open the scr file with notepad and yr in
now u can edit what u like

level.music = mp_gewitter_dm this is the background sound

exec global/weather.scr this is the thunder sound + flash

DONT fill it with tomuch as this will slow the server down
to find more sounds look in yr sound file under main /mainta /maintt
hope this helps m8

ok great!

i found the exact 2 files used to do this, they are:

Mac_Alarm_10
den_m212_257p

so i want to throw these into the stalingrad scr file. one is dialogue the other is a mechanic. what is the line to feed into the scr? would it just be

level.music=

or would it be exec.global=

i want the alarm to go off first, immediatley followed by the german shouting in the mic.

thanks!
