Well I am using the latest official linux release of cod but I am still having my map rotation stick at the scoreboard. I am running a very popular server and it is getting old having to force a map_rotate every few hours.

My server is doing the same thing. As I understand it, its a known bug that the IW people will be fixing hopefully in their 1st patch.

I've noticed this a dozen times or more on my server.
Strange thing is it's always Pavlov.

Is your server sticking on Pavlov or other maps?

I have notice pavlov also but its not the only map that sticks

Yes, it is a known bug. Do a "rcon map_rotate" command to force it to the next map and it will be fine though it may stick again at some point.

I had the same problems till I added +map_rotate to the end of the startup command line. This seems to have cured the problems.

Glad it seems to make a difference for you. Thing is it is probaly just luck, sometimes our servers go almost 2 days and no lockups, then we get them.

Hopefuly the patch is soon!!!

I have +map_rotate in my command line and it still sticks everyonce and a while. Funny you mention Pavlov because it often sticks on that map for me too.

This is a known Script error, IW is aware and the patch should take care of it.

I know how to fix this...
if its TDM ...change the frag limit to 500 and the time limit to 20..
I ran www.ulangames.com..and found that this helps all my clients...give it a try....

I am not saying you are wrong, but IW-Inherent said they have found a script error that causes this, I think it is just weird that your server doesn't stick.

mine has been working great after the second day that its been out....and the funny thing is i got the fix off this site :)

Went ahead and tried your fix, and the servers still locked sometime early this morning, seems you are just lucky.

I guess I got lucky too. Mine used to lock up at least once a day. I changed the scorelimit to 500 keeping the timelimit at 20 and its been 4 days so far without any problems.
