I really need help!!!

I could really use some help!!! I'm no MOHAA newbie anymore for a long time but now i'm thingking of setting up a server. So i tried with starting up the normal game and select create server (or something). So then i select how many max. players and so on and i started the game. I wanted my friends to join my server but they couldn't find it on gamespy. Does anybody know how to solve this problem? Under the game start options where you put in the map type, number of players, etc...did you check the bottom box in the corner which says to show the server on Gamespy?

Also if you already did that...is your computer behind a router? If so you will need to open to ports on the Port Guide here on MOHADMIN:

...this will allow your server to be seen on gamespy and also allow your friends to connect to it...

i don't get it, whats a router???

A router is a networking device which acts like a gateway to the internet and then it provides internet and lan connectivity for all the computers connected to it...so if you have more than one computer at home people normally hook them up to a hub or a router...if that is not your case...disregard the router comment...

well i got 2 comps here at home and we tried to link em but it didn't work. so i guess we don't have a router then... what should i do now?
