Will someone please help me out with my server?

Hello, I have my own Dual Server from Server Xtreme and it runs MOHAA and MOHSH at separate times. If first had a problem where my alliedassault WOULD show up in gamespy but my Spearhead would not..... Then I read somewhere that I was supposed to add a few lines to my server.cfg The lines were:

seta sv_gamespy "1"

set sv_master1 "mohmaster.2015.com"
set sv_master2 "master0.gamespy.com"
set sv_master3 "master1.gamespy.com"
set sv_master4 "clanservers.net"

And then all of a sudden my spearhead WOULD show up in gamespy and it works 100% fine.....but then I checked my alliedassault and it HAS THE SAME PROBLEM SPEARHEAD DID! I am going nuts my server host has got no idea whats wrong and they think it is GameSPY's fault. I dont I think there is something wrong maybe in my server.cfg or something.

Will anyone here be so kind as to help me out. I am paying for this feature and I cannot even use it. I would appreciate it greatly! Thanks!

Then you will NOT be able to see both. The GSpy, ASE master servers receive info from your game server when it is running. If you are running AA only your AA game will show on their master server listing.
Even if you change gametypes it takes a while for their servers to update and your server may disappear from their list for a while.

Well the thing is.........how come if I host at home with my own server I can host on alliedassault and then 20 seconds later I change it to Spearhead (SAME IP ADDRESS) and it shows up just fine? IF that is so how come I cannot do the same with this? And I gave it PLENTY of time I have had each game run for about a day w/o changes or stopping it and still only 1 shows up. I've been "down" for a couple of weeks now, but in my absence our new server admin has informed me GS has been having alot of problems lately.
So its possible you are feeling the affects of this.

Well back to job hunting. Your tech support for the server doesn't have a clue?

Well bro I hope your right.......I appreciate your help with everything! And yes my Tech Support has NO CLUE! I am farther along then they are. I think in a way it is sad but they are trying they told me so I will give em props for trying to help me!

Here is a solution I found in the GameSPY threads. Add this to any MOHAA server that is not showing up in GameSPY for any reason!


set sv_gamespy 2

P.S. If it does not work for you, then try a combo of

set sv_gamespy 1

and

set sv_gamespy 2

Interesting, I would like to hear from others that have tried this. Especially where using a 1 doesnt work.
