I've got a Linux box running the Linux dedicated server. I'm able to get the server started, and get a map loaded, but I can't connect. I'm always getting the "Waiting for CD Key Authorization" message.

Yes, I'm behind a router. Because of that, I've tried a number of things. I've made the Linuz box a DMZ host (which I don't like), I've checked the DNS and the codauthorize hosts are resolving properly. I've even placed the codauthourize host IP in my /etc/hosts. I've tried connecting to the local IP address (192.168.1.102), as well as my main IP. Nothing. Nada. It still is trying to authorize. I can add the host as a favorite in the in game browser, and see that it is there. I just can't connect to it.

I read in another thread that the dedicated server doesn't send CD auth keys. If this is true, then what is my problem? Anybody got any ideas? I have an official copy of the game, with a real CD key. Why can't I connect to my server? I'd like to use Linux as my server platform, as I hate Windowz as a server platform, but I'm getting frustrated at my inability to get this working.

Any help would be appreciated.

I might also add that I've setup a dedicated server using my Win XP box. I didn't need to unblock ANY ports in the router, turn off my software firewall, or do anyhting other than start it up. After starting, I was able to join without a problem.

I'm looking for solutions.
