MODING WEAPON .TIK FILES

I am looking for a ballistics explanation of the lines in the .TIK files. I understand some of the obvious stuff ie range etc. but what I am looking for is the value effect on spread and accuracy and how these model real world ballistics. IE lets make the MP40 awesome at close range, but a useless tit when working with larger distances.
