I want to set up a dedicated server for MOHAA & Spearhead on my second computer, but I am getting stuck. Here's what MOHAA reports:

------ Server Initialization ------
Server: obj/obj_team1
^~^~^ Box data is corrupted for 'models/human/allied_pilot/allied_pilot.skd'
^~^~^ Morph targets data is corrupted for 'models/human/allied_pilot/allied_pilot.skd'
^~^~^ Add the following line to the *_precache.scr map script:
cache models/statweapons/flak88turret.tik
------ Server Initialization Complete ------ 5.37 seconds
Hitch warning: 5393 msec frame time

**
The only options I have are Copy, Clear, or Quit.

Can someone recommend a site that will guide me through the Server set up process? I've got a two PC network set up on a router and the free version of Zone Alarm. I won't have any problem with the IP address or which ports to open. However, I do need clear step by step instructions.

Thanks

Thanks for the responses.

I don't know how to start the game after the server is initialized.

Where can I get a list of commands?

Go to our Guides section and read CrowKings Admin Tutorial, it has all the info on running a server.
http://www.mohadmin.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=22

There is also an rcon command guide here:
http://www.mohadmin.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=6
If you are entering commands from the console at the server, leave out the rcon at the beginning of the command.

if you have the dedicated server installed on your own machine, note that joining your server with another instance of mohaa will lag for sure. The reason is CPU power.

This is what you can do about that issue:

1) Install this dedicated server onto another pc in your network (if you have any) and if possible let it connect to the internet also. Your pc doesn't require an internet connection to be able to play on your server with people from the internet.

2) Shutdown the dedicated server, and launch mohaa and startup a non-dedicated server. (this will put you in that game with a 0 ping, and when you quit the game, the server will be shutdown also. Also you cannot do rcon stuff.

Lets say you do option 1...

startup mohaa, and connect to the ip of your lan computer. In case you really want to see it lagging when you have the dedicated server on your own computer, you can use the ip: 127.0.0.1

this ip is local host which means on every computer, that it is the same computer.
