This server on linux or windows?

Hello Buddies

i rented a server and they installed a Spearhead 2.15 server.
It is written Medal of HOnor Spearhead 2.15 linux-i386 March

This is linux or win.. I checked some servers on ASE , some are that some are win-x86..
i need your comments urgently

"linux-i386" in the name would be a pretty strong indicator its a linux server.

hmmmmm, can't say I have run MOH on Linux, but it seems stable on the linux servers I hit. Generally I prefer Linux servers because when properly configured they are more reliable, and easier to admin (they can give you your own logon to your own directory with the game - and you can start and stop the server, mod it, etc, without needing their help. Of course you have to learn about SSH and screen, but to me its worth it.

Does not mean they should sell one thing and provide another though. :rolleyes:
