I can't get on a multiplayer server

Okay.. I just finished playing Allied Assault. Pretty good I have to say.

Now, I want to play with others on the multiplayer levels. I have the full version of the game and want to play with other players - I guess the only way is to go through gamespy.

Okay.. so I click on some of the games on the server list from GS. When I do, I can't get to the server. There are plenty of space for me to join and all. It always says Time Out for me. My pings are very good when I bounce off those servers.

What's the problem? Do I have to be part of a clan or something(???) or do I need an update to the game software?

Some one please help because I have this urge to kill some people in the game real bad.. he he..

But, seriously, please HELP..

I've tried everything that I know ...

Oh, to mention another thing.. I play spearhead demo and that works fine for multiplayer (I guess since everyone has the same software??)

Make sure you have your game patched to 1.11

This is most likely your problem.

Whenever a server disconnects, like the above situation, if you have enabled console, you can always see why it disconeccted.

But indeed im positive this is just the 1.11 patch that is required.

On worse occations you time out because your initiated ping is too high (mostly either ISP problem, or you're downloading/uploading something)

go to console and type reconnect to retry ;)

Okay.. I downloaded the patch (to 1.11) and tried to install it. Now, this said that it couldn't find the Medal of Honor Allied Assault version on my computer...NO WAY! I don't know what is going on here...

how should I resolve this problem?

Make sure that you downloaded the 1.11 version for your language of mohaa. If you don't it will not update.

Yeah, I did. I downloaded the US/UK version.. It doesn't work..

You could try reinstalling the game and then apply the 1.11 update (without first applying 1.0)

I tried reinstalling it.. without anything.. then did the 1.11 update. It still thought I didn't have the game installed....

Really... i think that the version you have, doesn't matches the version of the update.

Anything else is almost impossible...

Do you use a cracked/downloaded version? cus i don't believe that'll work either.
