Getting rid of text

Im recording some demos, to make a flash movie, in game using the demo commands, and im mainly in spectator mode. Is there a command to get rid of the text at the bottom of the screen so i only see the action?

Any help would be appreciated.

/cg_drawcrosshair 0
/cg_drawstatus 0
in console


to turn everything back on set them to 1

And also, whats the best way to convert to demo to a video where u can edit it with a video editor? I was think about running the dmo i took and capurting with FRAPS, but didnt know if there was an easier way.

Actually i just found out in the guides section here...thanks though. I thought i looked through the whole site, obviously i was wrong.
