Server Watch

Do i FTP anything to my remote server for server watch?
for some reason it keeps giving me an error when i try to start it,i am familier with MOHAA CI and Delator,so i do know something of it,but after putting my server info in the setup i try to start,thats when i get the error,it doesn't even pick up my IP for the server.
can someone give me a step by step on how to do this?
and what i need to FTP ( if anything) to my server.
Thanks in advance.

P.S the how to just doesn't seem to explain everything to where i can understand it.
