Whatup guys, Im getting major server and system lag with SW. Did i set it up wrong? Or might the fact that im trying to run the client and server from one pc be the problem?

The lag seems to be with every system scan SW does

Tell me the info on the computer you are running this on.
And what you are running in this computer when the Server is up and you are playing.

Becase the sw only use about 0 to 4 % of the cpu.
So it should not make any lag.

Im running a AMD 3000+ 400MHz FSB so i figured that might not be the problem. But I was testing SW, so i fired it up, and launched the game at the same time (this was when lag occurs).

Will this cause lag? If so should i host the SW server on a separate computer, (2 to 4 clan mates who has RCON who will need to log into SW with clients) Kinda in a pickle here cause this pc im using is the one with static IP :(

So the problem might be me trying to run the game, SW, and maybe a client together? Oh yeah dont forget TS lol

Below is my PC info

Sorry i have to ask again:

You run on one PC (i think thats is wrong):
The COD Server, an COD Game on the Server (as player) and ServerWatch ? This is really something that stress the computer but most likely the COD game is the Problem then if the Server Lags for all.

You run On Your PC as what i understood:
You run on one PC the ServerWatch and you play COD also. That you have lags in game thats strange . hmmm.

Tips:

1: Did you try to minimize ServerWatch? That disable the hole refresh of the GUI. (If i remember right - if not well i should implement that one day ;-))

2: You can try to change the priorities in the Task Manager. You have 2 Options.
2.1: Set the Priority from ServerWatch below Normal - i would not do that.
2.2: set the priority from the COD Game to higher then normal - thats what i would prefer

Good Luck

I'll try running SW from my laptop, I guess this would be the wise thing to do, seeming I can handle SW without having to assign alot of short cuts.

I think my problem speaks for itself, I was trying to Run SW, SW Client, COD, and Teamspeak. This might cause a lag fest sorry for the waist of forum space.
