Does MOHAA CI Remote lag hosts computer?

I have MOHAA CI running on my computer,2 other members have Remote CI which they have my IP set where it says "CI Host IP"
Does this cause the host to lag or use more CPU?
I have noticed that while in-game that when MOHAA CI scans my ping will go up,causing me to lag,but here lately since the other 2 members have started using the Remote it seems to have gotten worse.
I don't have a superfast computer but it should be fast enough to handle this. (win XP,1.2GHz,576mb ram,cable connection).
Any ideas on why it's doing this?or is this just the price i have to pay for running the program? (which i will deal with since i damn sure not getting rid of such a good program)

First off this should have been posted in the CI forums, but no worries. And yes it can if you have turned on under Options>Remote access "allow full dumpusers to go to remotes" you will see some lag when CI's performing that action.

So to fix just turn it off. The remotes will only get a dump when the player first comes on server and not during addtional dumps. I usually when I am going to play on a server set that option off. But when I am not playing turn it on again. Hope this helps.

the only CI forum i know of is at Invisible Warriors,but you don't get a lot of answers there,i will try what you said,thanks for the help
