Hi there!
I'm new at the cod and I have a dedicated server running Windows Server 2000 and I'm here to ask you all to tell me how to setup COD servers, the only servers that I know how to setup is from mohaa, and I want to setup COD's servers now!
Thanks

OK, the quick down and dirty.
upload the contents of both CD's setup/data dir. (Or just upload it from your computer after you install the gameL to your server.
The dir structure should look something like this
C:\cod\main\
C:\cod\miles\
C:\cod\CoDMP.exe
Now create a shortcut from the CoDMP.exe
Add the following to get you started
"C:\cod\CoDMP.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec MPserver.cfg
Now all you have to do is create your MPserver.cfg file (do not call it server.cfg)
Look for a sample cfg file in the forums. Most of the stuff is just like MOH. RCON commands need the / in front of them or you will echo anything typed into the console to the game
ie:
/rcon status
Been doing this as well, and after a lot of struggling I found out that I had to add "+map_rotate" to it, otherwise my server would say "server not running when issuing the status command
Also make sure you have the right maps configured for the right game-type in your config file

Hi there!
I finally made it! I've configured the cod server! But unfortunelly i've noticed that one server takes several memory space from my windows dedicated server! Aprox 500MB! Do you know how to fiz this?
Thanks!

Wow, both the CoDadmin game servers running under win2K only take about 120 each.
What else do you have running?
