autodownload working, but?

hey guys, i got the auto download working on my server for [3rd-Army] but how do u speed up the transfer rate? wow it was so slow on my server, but i have seen screen shots of other people's server downloading the maps or what ever alot faster...any info on this??

I might be wrong but I wonder if Maxrate has anything to do with it.

Do you have your maxrate set low for your server?

I think its set to like 8000, yeah justed looked it is, should this be higher?

depending on your upload connection. check out the guides section for a how to on setting maxrate

Hey Cleaner, try this out and add this to your .cfg file


seta sv_dl_maxrate "100000" // Maximum download rate the server will send files at (i.e Maps etc)

I know I'm being an ass in saying this, but cleaner, your av and sig are HUGE! I won't mind so much tomorrow when I up to 1.5mbit cable, but today you're killing my DSL.
