Well, there seems to be a lot of different programs out there to stop cheating, but I still like to do my own testing. Maybe this is counterproductive, but where could I go to download some of these cheats.

Also, is stopping people from using "force models" at all useful in preventing cheat skins, or is there a way around this?

i can tell you right now, noone is going to post any cheat sites here, just do a google search for MOHAA cheats/hacks.

I did the same thing and believe me,best way to learn about them is going to a cheat sites forum, they love to brag.
I also downloaded a bunch of the cheats to test Delator and other anti-cheat programs i run on my server,as bad as the sites are they also help to defeat themselves.

As far as the hacks like zzzchameleon and a couple of others, you can't beat them, just do instant screenshots and ask the players to send to you (they are numbered,so sending a bogus screenie doesn't work).
You know as well as me that if they are cheating they are not going to send.

Good news is,there has been a number of these cheat makers/hackers who are very skilled that have turned their backs on the cheat community and now work on honest programing for the MOHAA community.
Maybe the trend will keep continue. :D

I didn't honestly expect anyone to post any cheat sites here, but my searches weren't finding anything. Eventually I found the mother of all cheat sites, and to my disappointment, several of the cheats worked on our servers first pop :(

We have used code security in the past for taking screenshots, but one of the problems we found was that 56k players often go to cafe's to get a decent ping. And a lot of cafe's restrict access to the c drive, meaning they can't access the screenshot file. This means they cant sent the pic through, and I have no way of knowing if they are cheating or just at a cafe.

It is mostly clan matches I am interested in stopping cheats. I am running a clan ladder in New Zealand www.fireladder.tk so if anyone has any suggestions of an anti-cheat combination I would be very appreciative. Getting access to the server is a mission, and has to go through the network administrator, so RCON based tools are better.

We have tried Ponto40 but some players have had problems connecting. I have no problem with telling all players to remove all mods for matches, if it is possible to enforce this.

Man, this anti-cheat business is complex. Couldn't someone raid EA's warehouse for some source code to MOHAA so we can integrate something into the game???? As I'm sure we have seen the last of the patches from EA.

The upcomming ServerWatch with the anticheat will make that forcing screenshots to a dream.
Becase it will take a screenshot.
And it will make it as small as about 30 kb take og give abit.
Then it will send it to the server by itself.

Wow, that would rule. Now someone has to find a way to collect the shots from the server when u can't ftp or have a ssh login to the server.

Well to get this Anticheat to work that has this feature in it.
You will need to have a FTP connection og SSH to the server,
Or have it running on the server.

The new FTP client on the ServerWatch have been running nice.
So i think this will be a good ServerTool and anticheat to run in Servers.
