Without actual proof i have seen "hack like" shots and situations. People knowing exactly where i am, and other too good moves. Im wondering if they have made wall hacks and aim bots for CoD yet? If so are there anti-cheat programs i can use to help stop them. It hard to believe that one person can take out 5 skiled players, without dieing once! Please respond. Thanks

Yes, there probably already is cheats for CoD. You should count on there being cheats for every game that is released. Once the demo is released people can begin the process of making cheats. I dont have the game yet, so if you think someone is a little bit too good, take a look at them again. There will always be someone better than everyone else, possibly because of cheats or because all they do is play the game. But there is a petition for punkbuster going around. I suggest pming Rudedog and ask him if he knows where that link is. Hope you found this useful!

I am kind of curious too. I havent really run into anyone I think is cheating, but we run our server on pure. I have seen what is available on the cheat sites, and it looks fairly vanilla so far, but I wanted to know if anyone has anything that can defeat pure?

I have also heard some rumors of opengl hacks. Anyone know anythng about these?

If I were to guess, I'd say you are referring to this:

This is, in fact, a duped picture, using Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop. Don't believe everything you see. :!:

nah, that is not it. it was something else I saw, a series of screenies and a reference to a bunch of small-schween hackers.

Yep there are already cheats for this game, but just because you got owned doesn't mean the other guy cheated.

Make sure you watch your killcam. Its good to catch a cheater, but very bad to falsely blame/ban a skilled player.

You had better believe that this is true. We have a "recovering" cheater who hangs out at our forum, and he is privy to some of the details regarding this cheat.

This is not a .pk3 cheat, but an OpenGL hack, whose hacked .dll does not even need to be in /Call of Duty/main/ (and consequently would not be spotted by a program that scanned /Call of Duty/main/). It can be called from the desktop via shortcut when CoD starts.

The wallhack/ballhack works quite well, apparently, and is not hard to find if you know where to look (and you certainly won't find out from me or at my forum, so don't bother to ask or search.)

If it is any consolation, the hackers/cheaters are very distressed about the possibility of PunkBuster integration into CoD, and as we speak are plotting ways of simply being annoying if they can't cheat on a server.

Despite talk on one forum of "a former PunkBuster employee" who has gone over to the dark side (which I see as so much whistling-past-the-graveyard), it is clear that the overwhelming majority of hackers/cheat-coders who actually know what they are talking about see PunkBuster as a Very Bad Thing for them.

Good! Here's to hoping we see the addition of PB and many other issues addressed with the first patch. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I am responsible for detecting cheats on our server and that video is that hack that I have and have used. Fortunately for us the maps and models in CoD have a high enough detail the hack becomes very confusing at times. If you watch the kill cam you can spot a cheater very easily. If they are using skins or a player model hack when they shoot you in the kill cam you will not see yourself just the gun flying through the air. I have tested every hack for CoD quite a bit on a private server and they are really no different than anything that was used on the MOH series. As far as punkbuster is concerned it will be a problem for cheaters but once again there are ways around everything hopefully it will slow some of them down.
