View Full Version : Mixed Map setup?

I am not able to figure out how to get this working correctly. I want to be able to run maps in TDM and also have Tow maps as TOW mixed in. I am running CI 1.3.0.0, MAM 1.1, Hammers Goodies 2.0.
What do I set _ham_gametype, _ham_sh_force_obj and g_gametype to? I have tried every combination I can think of, but must be missing something.
Everything is working great, keep up the good work guys.

First off, this has nothing to do with MAM or CI, just my Goodies ;)
_ham_gametype sets the default game type (eh!) for DM-type maps, i.e. those starting with dm/. You can set this to 1, 2 or 3 for FFA, TDM or RBM, respectively. Set _ham_sh_force_obj to 1 so that TOW maps play as TOW (instead of whatever g_gametype is currently set to). g_gametype should be set to the correct type for the FIRST map you start, i.e. if your first map is TOW, set it to 5.

That is what I thought and have tried. I have started the rotation with both TOW and TDM maps with their respective g_gametype type and _ham_sh_force_obj to 1. With _ham_sh_force_obj set to 1, TOW maps load, but as TDM. The server shuts down when it goes into TOW. I will have to check to see if I have any other mods that are conflicting (Rockets disabled / or rifles only).
I upgraded to the the new MAM files and they again work great other than this error on my part.
