kicking high ping players

is there a way to kick high ping players before they even get into the server i used auto kick but it wouldnt kick a player untill they got into the server and scanned them

What is the maximum ping you have allowed for your server? If you have it set low enough it should keep out the high pingers. The draw back is you may find it harder to get into your own server since most players pings spike when entering a server. This was a common problem in MOH...luckily if your scanner is set to a low enough cycle the HPB's don't last long.

boxer, the max ping check is only done when the person enters. Once they are in, their ping may exceed that.
