MP maps crash

Just wondering why so many custom maps will not work when i try to serve them..Even more maps crash mohaa to windows when I try to connect to a buddies server..My Puter is up to par. Network is fine . internet is cable...it's not hardware related cause my buddies have same trouble with alot of these custom maps..

any insight would be appriciated.

Did you unzip the maps from the compressed program you got them in? Also make sure the .pk3 file is placed in the /main folder for AA and /mainta for SH.
