Requirements for Seeing Custom Player Skins

Just curious: What is required for players to see custom player skins? Does the server have to have the skin? Do both clients have to have the skin? Or do both of these need to be true?

Yeah, that's right - both clients and the server.

Or, just yourself and forced models - but with servers controlling that nowadays don't know how successful it will be

Thanks! Here's a follow-up question: If you are using a custom player skin, and your server has that skin as well, but another player connecting to your server does NOT have that skin, what skin does that player see?

i believe it german_whermacht or allied_ranger - a regular skin though i may be wrong on the names

Also, if a player is using a custom skin, but the server does not have it installed, the same default models will appear
