Sample server configuration files

Lately it seems like there's been an increase in the amount of folks learning to setup MoH:AA servers (incl. Spearhead). I would like to use this post to provide sample server configuration from existing servers. This is not meant as a tutorial (there's many of those around in this and other sites), but rather a place to provide example config information for beginner and intermediate administrators. BTW, Please be sure you don't include rcon or player password in any of your config files. :twisted:

I'll start with the configuration used by the Mohaa Crew Clan servers (http://www.mohaacrew.com/). The link below points to a ZIP archive containing all the config files (ascii text files) used by all our servers. Start by looking at server.cfg. These config files are setup to work on both classic MoH:AA and Spearhead; there's a common set of config files that apply to all servers, while private server- or game-specific configurations can be established in a few others.

If you want to be able to change from obj to ffa or tdm, you could make small config's for that. lemme show how:

create a file called ffa.cfg, and place in the mohaa/main on the server.

in there, you set the following:

now in console you could do exec ffa to change the server to ffa, and load southern france.

the same could be done for all gametypes. You can even mix obj with rbm, by placing dm maps in the obj maplist. you could call that cfg objrbm.cfg
