Delator 2.0 and dumpuser

Dumpuser command won't work when the nickname contains a space.
Put quotation marks around the nick

That doesn't work 9 out of 10 times in the server I work in. So is it a conflict with Crow Kings Auto Kick? Or Delator itself? I am able to even do clientinfo ## (## being the slot number) on my home machine when I run a pvt server. But on the main 2 we have it won't work.

Is there anyone outthere that knows if its possible to make a tool to do a dumpuser on the IP or the player slot #? Im not good with code like that so Im not going to try it.

SD--the command itself is not working so it cant be used at all at this point and be reliable. YoChoy was going to write a prog into Delator that would remove the spaces from names. That way Dumpuser will work again.

On my server linux 2.11 clean install (no mods) it works fine.

Thank the dear lord he's going to be working on that. That has to be one of the bigger flaws EA made in this game.... I just wish they would adress some of this. But luckily we have people who have the tools and the power to overcome them.

The servers I work in have a custom realism mod running, map fixes, CrowKing AK, and Delator. So no, using quotes in anyway does not work.

Adminhenk---would you do some more testing on that and report back. I would be very interested to know if it really is working.
Are you using Dumpuser only at the server console or remotely also?
Try various combinations of names and let us know please.
I have noticed that sometimes it would work on a name and I would do it again and then it would return with: Usage info id.

I tested some. Here are the details:

- Server: Linux running alpha1 from 3jan2002 (only linux version out as far as i can tell) (no mods)
- 'Client': winxp sp1 mohaas v2.11 (no mods)

If I do dumpuser on the linux console, it works for names containing spaces.
If I do the same with rcon command in my copy on windows machine, it doesn't work: rcon dumpuser "name space"

So probably it only works on the linux console (i use screen to move the server to for- and background)

Update:
I just installed delator 2.0.0.7 and this is what i found (from activity.log):
Rcon request:
dumpuser "[213th.be] Pvt. Malcolm"
Rcon output:
Usage: info <userid>

So if delator does dumpuser "[213th.be] Pvt. Malcolm" it doesn't work,
but if I do it on the linux console, it does work!

Spearhead removes quotation marks from any rcon command sent to the server. Not only dumpuser, but every single command... :( I was hoping the incoming retail patch 2 will fix this, but it's delayed for more than one week now and nobody knows anything about it.

In order to include the renaming ability in Delator I must rebuild the whole code in the mod (which, by the way, is required also for some fancy things), but right now I just don't have the time for this, plus I would like to have a stable version of the new rcon app before messing with the mod part...

So, sorry, you'll have to wait a bit more... :(

PS: When typed directly on console it also works for the Windows version.
PS2: Another console, for gaming purposes.
