Hi
Can anyone tell me how to increase the number of nades. We spawn with 2 and would like to increase it.
Also, is there a way of increasing the amount of damage to player models needed for a kill.

Download Crow King's tutorial on modding. That will get you started. What you basically need to do is extract the models\weapons directory out of the pak file (including all the weapon .tik files) into a folder on your HD. Then using notepad, edit the dmstartammo (for MOHAA) or the dm startammo and the dmrealism startammo (for MOH SH) values to whatever you want. Then create a new pak file using an app like pakscape, and create a directory within it called models. Then create a subdirectory under models, called weapons. In that folder, place your modified weapon .tik files. Save your pak file in quake 3 format (.pk3) under the name of z - user_yourname_realism.pk3. Then copy it into your \mohaa\main subdirectory. All done!

Actually if you run a realism mod its even easier. Extract the realsim, should extract them to a models folder. Go into the models folder open the weapons folder. You can open each weapon or .tik file with notepad and modify its values, grenades should be in their too. When your done zip it back up and change the extension back to a .pk3 and load that bitch up on your server should work.

You bet that would work. I suggested the other route bc if there was no need to modify the other files, then the solution i offered would change only what he wanted. Alternatively, using rahavin's solution, if you don't want the other modifications that come with the realism mod, just delete the associated .tik files from the realism mod (leaving only the ones you want changed), then plug it back in! Nice shortcut rahavin!
