where can i find the program that lets me change a users nick?

You can use my mod, Hammer's Goodies, to perform a name change (see post here (http://www.mohadmin.com/nuke/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=711)) :)

Use the mod's _ham_onetime cvar on the server console to send the client the name change command:

_ham_onetime "# name Use_this_name"

where # is the player's num field in the output of the status command.

Only drawback is you can't use spaces in the name (use underscores instead). You can use this from rcon as well. Also, to get around the Spearhead problem with spaces in rcon commands, use the mod's quoting characters (which will also work in classic MoH:AA). For example:

rcon _ham_onetime "#\sname\sUse_this_name"
