I was wonder if anyone else out there is using a router with CI. I am tring to get CI working with a Gnet IP0006 router. The game type is MOHAA 1.11 Objective type server 14 players. CI will show the players in the green text box but will not show maplist or game type or the players names in the lower text where it show Phacks. When there is players on the server I also get a dumpuser msg after it lists the players in the green text. If someone can please help I really want to figure this out and I have ran out of ideas.

1. What version of CI do you have?
2. Did you download the full version or accidently download an update (the updates don't have all the files necessary to run correctly)
3. Did you configure your Router to open and allow traffic through the UDP port CI is trying to use?

Get back to us with that info and we'll go from there.

okay its the newest version 1.2.1.5. I have downloaded the full version uninstalled it completely and reinstalled alot. I am using a Gnet IP00006 router www.gvc.ca. I believe I know how to open the port required for CI and I even changed the UDP port to 1400 with no luck. I am now running the computer with CI as a DMZ and still no luck. Just tell me what you need. If you could help me it would be great I have ran out of things to try.

Well I probably should've asked if you receive an error when you try to run the program, especially now that I read you've uninstalled it. CI does not, or at least did not, uninstall properly in previous versions. You need to check your HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MOHAACI registry entry and delete it after you've uninstalled it, then reinstall.

Why don't you remove the router and temporarily hook the PC directly to your line and then try CI and see if it works that way. If it doesn't then you know it's something wrong with how you uninstalled/installed CI.

I use a Lynksys Router and all I had to do was open a series of ports via Port forwarding and the MTS range. That worked fine for me...I didn't need to set the box up as a DMZ.

I'm sure there's something on your Router's website or manual that can help you with this, that's all I did. You could try using the support group/forum for your router, I'm sure someone with the same router has had similar problems.

hehehe

I have did the full uninstall deleting the registery also.

I have connected it up just to the internet via the modem and it worked lol

What ports did you open up I have tried a variety of ports with no luck maybes I am just missing one. CI connects to the server but it seems when it recieves the response some of the data is lost and not a full dumpuser happens.

Ummm...I'm sure you can understand why I'm not going to post port information in an open forum...can you say, here, come hack please : )

Send me an email, routerinfo@dcfa-clan.com and I'll get that info to you later when I get home...I'm at the office now.
