Does anyone else have this problem?

My spearhead game keeps crashing sometimes it cool then other times just keeps crashing i have the latest drivers installed...Plus have uninstalled and reinstalled to many times to count have no mods or skins just a stock game....G3 ti200 and game theater xp for my sound card with 1 gig of ddr,1700xp...could anyone shed some lite on this besides EA SUCKS!!!!! snipersmile

sound like you have decent enough rig to run he game, in order to help more what happens exactly and do any other games exhibit the same problems, especially MOHAA

THat is not much to go on, but you don't mention motherboard chip drivers. If you have VIA motherboard chips you may want to install their latest chip drivers. That has helped me in the past.

all I know is that I used to have those kinda problems in the past with nvidia cards since then I have went to ATI radeon,, havnt had any problems.

Do you have custom maps and skins installed? I know I just ran into a problem with The Canal. Its made for AA not SH, but the sound add on caused the game to crash on load up. Just a thought. I know most problems are due to hardware, but sometimes its a custom item for the game.

Ok seemed to have fixed my problem at least it seems that way fro now spearhead so dam buggy who knows....It was windows service pack 1 it didnt install correctly...how i found out is when i went to update the service pack 1 i could not update that pack so i reinstalled my OS tryed unintsalling not a good thing.Now the packs installed updated and im going on day 3 no crash... snipersmileEA
