Hello,
here it is ServerWatch 0.8.0 and ServerWatch Client 0.3.0.
There are a lots of new features and bug fixes.

how do i get the killing spree funtion to work, do you have to play a certain type of game i run my server in OBJ mod, and would like this to work, do i need it in ssh mode? thanks

you need ServerWatch o get you’re server logfile
you can chat in the debug window if kill events are coming. if there are kill events that killing spree function should work.
Jus setup how many times a player have to kill on a run and all is fine.
If you don’t see any events please read the Readme.html

What did you have done as it lookup ? Anything special ?
I don’t have heard that about the later Version up from 0.8.0 its strange, what os are u using ? Win98 ?
Personally im running win2k and i also had good reports from WinXP.
Maybe you are lucky because i will release 0.8.2 today so maybe you try this.
Ok but what will help to get why it stops (generally if you have some problems):
activate logging options in the Log Event to File Setup. Delete them and just send me all the files from one run.

I have a question...
In the killing spree menu it says %playernick% is on a killing spree. so far so good, no porbs here but when it ends its says like this, if the player is called blah, blah's killing spree was stopped by blah. WHats wrong here? It says %playernick% and %playernick2% in the command line thingy.
Another thing, the tk monitoring don't work at all, is this because that i run OBJ?
Sorry if i make little or no sense, havent slept all nite ;)

Hey i think i know what it is, this is what is happening i am running my server from remote desktop, and am using a new os (beta) probably the problem it is called windows.net and this is what happens, i run it and everything works, if it goes into screensaver mode or if i exit out of recon mode it locks up, what do i mean lock up, if i minimized it, it wont open back up, if i was in it, the screen turns white. thats about it, i can send you my files asap, i would love to get this running cause it is by far my favorite program.

Lol i think i have a little more documentation about all the Variables you can use :D
%player....2% is always the person who killed
%player....1% is always the person who was killed
if the event has no 2 players (like join events and so on, you can see that in the debug window and can get an imagination about what im trying to say *G*)
In the new version i uploaded i cleaned the stats a little and now it is also a user History data on what many killing springs a player has so i think this is a good place for an other example :D
If a player starts with an killing spree and you want to get all players to know how many he already was on you can use the DATA Variable.
With that Variable you can access all History Data.
Example for killing spree:
%data[2]killingsprings% is a variable how many killing sprees the player already was on
%data[2]haskilled% is a variable how many the player killed overall on this server and so on just all Informations you can see on the User Statistics.

I changed lot of thinks in that for the new Version maybe you try this one first. But be sure you setup ServerWatch to have join messages in you’re log file. If you don’t do that TK detection only will work on Team Matches.
In sum you will also be more happy with the 0.8.2 what I will release today because no cheating on the TK detection is anymore possible. (It was possible by changing teams to fast and you not really changing or if you are used auto join)

1. DONT use BETA software from ms, i already know about 3 exploits for you’re .net machine :D
before you minimized it - there is no problem ?
What if you minimize it to tray? Also the same Problem ?

%Playernick2% to is the one who allways do the killing, and it will get the finfo of the player made the kill and put it into the text sendt on the screen.
%playernick1% is the player who get killed, and it will be put in the right name in the text out allso.
Well i can say that we was thinking we had found the perfect way to detect TK.
But we had missed a few ways fore it to not get the info it needed.
This is fixed in the 0.8.2 version that will be relased tonight.
And the TK detection is working.
I have tested it fore 2 our tonight.
and it did work perfect.

OK you asked that I post my issue here. Instead of in an email or in the other thread, in case others are having the same issue.
The main issue is, I do not understand you. I also do not understand your instructions, or most of your posts.
I am requesting in this thread, as I did in the other. If someone who has a hosted game (not on their system, but they pay to have someone run it for them) and they get this up and running, will they please provide some information on how they did so. Then maybe I can follow their instructions.
So far I have got Counter Intelligance, Delator, Autokick, PJG Script and Pronto40 to all work (no not all at the same time) But I am having trouble understanding these instructions.
Understand I truely appreciate what you have done here. It looks to be a very good program and I look forward to trying it. The issue is from my own lack of knowledge, not from anything you have done. If I had more knowledge in this area, I'm sure your documentation would make complete since. But concider me a nOOb when it comes to this application.

Looks like a very good program.... but.... I too rent a commercial server and have no idea how to set this up to run....
Running Delator 2 and CK Autokick.... love the possibilities with this program but.... how do I set up the SSH?

When I heard that this program has a TK detection feature, I was interested because I have been working on trying to enhance the logic I use in the tool I developed for Linux game servers. I have researched, tested, and gathered tons of data on this subject and I want to share what I have uncovered. As others have noted previously, it is important for developers to work together because we're all trying to help the community. I agree with them and I hope this information helps in some way.
TK detection has its foundation in accurately identifying and tracking player team selections. The game server is deficient in this regard because of the way it reports data to the game server log. As you know, the game server has the ability to show varying levels of detail in the server log by manipulating the value of the developer cvar. When it is set to output the highest level of detail, it records the client command used to initiate a team change with the data taking one of these three forms:
clientCommand: Shockwave : 1 : join_team allies
clientCommand: Shockwave : 1 : join_team axis
clientCommand: Shockwave : 1 : auto_join_team
This is a good thing, but it unfortunately falls short of the mark when trying to determine what team a player is on in two important ways:
(1) A player can issue a command to join a team but it may not be executed successfully.
For example, if a player joins a team and then immediately tries to join the opposite team, there is a mandatory waiting period enforced. In this instance, the player will execute the command to join the team and the log will record it, but the change never actually occurred. The error message isn't displayed in the log so unsuccessful team change commands can be a problem.
(2) Even if a player is successful in joining the team selected, it won't help if the player has asked for the assignment to be made automatically.
It is awfully hard to figure out the team if "auto_join" is all the log shows.
Someone once told me that there is a command that will display the session information for a given player and that the code it produces can be used to determine team affiliation. The command is:
sessionX (where X is the clientID of the player)
While this is true, it has its limitations. My experimentation has shown that the value is only properly set at the load of a new map for players who have already completed the connection process and have joined a team. Even so, any subsequent team changes are not reflected with this command.
If you are implementing your TK detection logic and relying on this information, you will encounter certain situations where it will fail to accurately identify player team selections. This will either cause the guilty to go unpunished or the innocent to be unfairly sanctioned.
I have been working on a server-side mod written in the game's scripting language that may help with this situation, but I'm still testing it. If you have come up with another way of handling these problems, I'd be interested in hearing about it.
I've also tried to raise the issue of accessing more detailed information about players with two EA developers, but I haven't heard a peep. I've even posted on this site in addition to TMT and AA.com, but nothing ever came of that either. My reason for this is because once you stop TK'ing from occurring, you'll find a number of players who will TeamWound. I've been able to record data to the game server log each time a player is wounded, but I haven't been able to find a way to get at who did the damage yet. It might be a lost cause but I think the concern over TW'ing is a valid one.

I’m a little but confused of the installation problems, sorry i don’t have seen any problems there but here are some information’s and I think that will help you.
The most important thing you have to get is that you need not only rcon access to youre Mohaa Server. You also need access to the log file.
If would be nice to know what the rental off the commercial servers includes. If you are able to start programs on that Server and also edit the Setup Files for Mohaa you don’t have any Problems I think. If you don’t have direct access to the log file of the mohaa Server it is a little more complicated and if you’re hoster is user unfriendly you don’t have any possibility – but hopefully that is not the problem at all.
To Setup logging on an Mohaa Server you just have to edit its start-up line of the Mohaa Server.
Setup I know that works for windows Servers: +set dedicated 2 +set sv_chatter 1 +set chat 1 +set developer 2 +set
The log file should be in the main dir of the Mohaa Server with default and is named qconsole.log
If you have a Linux Server it is mainly the same, you will find the setup line on my Read me file like the Options for the windows Server also. The log file is in the home dir of the logged in User and is also called qconsole.log.
Now there a 2 different possibilities.
1. You have local access to the file you you can get it with a Network drive or something like that from you’re Mohaa Server.
If the file is on you’re local computer you don’t have any problems. Just Start Serverwatch open the Setup menu and choose the Connection Setup. There you change the method to direct file access and than just enter the full path of the file or user the browse button to find it.
If you have to get it from on other PC and want to user Network sharing , you have to Setup the computer where the Mohaa Server is running and the log file physical is to allow to share that folder or even more. If must only be possible to get the Log file from there nothing more.
The next Step is like on local access the only different thing is that you browse to the remote computer an select the log file from that machine.
2. You are running the Mohaa Server on a Linux Box or you just want to make a secure connection to the log file.
In this case the Log file is on an other machine which is running the Mohaa Server. If normally is Linux where the SSH Server is an basic element or It also can be a Windows Computer with an SSH Server installed. How you can install such SSH server on windows you can see here:

Now you need a ssh login (a normal user login) to the Server where the log file is. This account must have the possibility to execute a command called tail and also must have the user rights to access the Mohaa Server Logfile.
If all that is give you just open ServerWatch choose the Setup menu and than you choose the Connection Setup. Now you choose SSH Connection as youre method to access the logfile. Enter the SSH Server, User and Passsword. The only complicated thing left is the command. The command is an command which will be executed if the ServerWatch open the SSH connection and it should display the actuall logdata and also refresh it if new Data are there. So the best command for that is tail. The command is “tail –f /full/path/to/qconsole.log”
You also should setup the Rcon connection but I think that is not the problem ?!
Just put you’re ip of the Mohaa Server in there and the rcon password the server has.

If you’re Connection Setup is done you just need to restart Serverwatch if it say so and than restart it and execute choose Start ServerWatch from the menu.
If you like to you can just open the Debug window and look if there are new Events coming.
ServerWatch all the times work event driven and the debig dialog will display nearly all. So you should be able to see kills, weapon changes, nick changes, connects and so on.
If there is a problem with the events than you should check youre Setup again.
If you can see kill events the connection setup is fine. If you only see New User or User back events and things like that than the Logfile is not accessed the right way.
I hope that Information’s will get you all information’s in mind you need.
If you have a gaming hoster which is not providing any method I described you should ask him if he maybe can setup an SSH access for you

I has implemented in that way that players are in so called save game states. If there are leaving that states there get kicked.
For example to fast changing teams is a reason. Also auto join is a reason. There get a Warning message and that’s all the magic.
If you want to test it just download it. The Warning messages are all fully flexible and the timeouts also.

That would be very nice. The way i have done it is working good and normal players have really no problems with this rules but that mod would make it easier.

Have you sendt a mail to your host with the homepage fore ServerWatch ?
Becase i would think that they will understand the SSH thing at once.
And then they can tell you if it is possibel or not.
Becase it is not you who are going to set up a SSH connection.
it is the serverprovider.
So talk with them and let them sort it out if it is possibel fore them to fix this.

Yep.... it is "very" complicated..... I've finally gotten it going.... but don't know if is worth the effort.... hmmm
my solution to accessing the log file.... SSH.... is/was out of the question.... Win Server.... they won't run SSH for me.... not included in the package.... complicates service....
so
I'm running a piece called "internet Neighborhood FTP Client" that works through an FTP connection to create a drive map.... can find it through www.download.com or search it out on Google
Already can tell I would miss the simplicity of the Delator/autokick combo... variables listed in the program... I'm a programmer by training but.....

you mean to many options - hehe sorry for that but necessary to really implement all the features flexible like there are but more to that “problem” later
I'm a programmer by training but.....
but what? I think it is really no problem to run it. It has a clear structure and possibilities. For example in _every_ message you are sending to the Server you can use the Variables of Serverwatch like the %servername% %clientcount% and many others.
If i reduce the option set i think it won’t be that powerful like it is.
There are so many things you can to even things i don’t really has think of.
For example of you want to warn a player who is changing the weapon to rocket that he will have some problems if he use the rocket - just setup an console event message
other example if you want to you can send a boohoooo message each time one of you’re clan get killed ;-) Or just other crazy thing. And that only works in that way because the option set is like it is at the moment.
The only problem i really got are the Regular Expressions. Ok i can get that not any knows what that are and how it works. But i have started a Thread in the forum but no one already has a question or something.
ServerWatch never wanted to be like the other tools i wanted a tool that is much more flexible and at the same time high parallel so that it can react immediately on events.
Why you don’t ask if you have a special setup problem?
I don’t have the time to write a full how to at the moment because im writing exams @ the university but if you have some explicit questions it is no problem to find a solution and show the way how to do. Same also for requesting new Features.
I hope you get a small imagination what you can do with event messages.
The full feature set (as I can still remember ;-) ) you can find in the Readme on my homepage.
Please report if what you’re real problems are and don’t just ignore it and keep them down.

Hi serverwatch is running great on my server, i am only down too 2 problems, both of them are minor but i would like to get them fixed. Here they are
1.)
messaging, i cant send periodic messages to everyone ex.) i want serverwatch to say "Play often, have fun" once every 2 minutes, yet when i try to set this up it spams the server, i mean that it keeps on saying it about every 1-10 seconds, i cant figure out why it is doing this. Also i want to have multiple routine sayings, i cant get this working till the last one is working but i would like it to say one message when the first 2 minutes pass and then a different message after another 2 minutes, i guess i want the same message format as Kc autokick, just the messages where you can have them routine, so i can give out ip and soforth
2.) This is a minor problem but was wondering if it could be fixed, i run a server through remote desktop, and i run serverwatch on my computer, i created a network place on my computer that is linked to the qconsole.log file, this gives me the ability to have all the qconsole stuff work i think, anyways tk detection works, killingspree works, everything works correct exept for the "chat" where you can see the chat even though you are not in the game. I think i have the settings in my cfg file correct because i tried running serverwatch from the actual server and i could see everyones chat, so i was just wondering if there is someway to fix this. It may run better on Unix boxes.... but Combat Games (Our svr com... we rent from) Xgame, Frag, Ilan, and all the others I know of run on Win OS's
Don't mean to be flaming anyone.... but.... guess I'm stuck with Delator and AutoKick for a few more versions.

Becase in my computer it is taking only 2% of the CPU at all time.
but mabe you have the the first version of the serverwatch.
That had a small bug with cpu usage.
SO if you have the same version i have.
then this "internet Neighborhood FTP Client" mabe is your problem.
At least the version i am using do not lag out the server,
We are running 2 serverwatch and 2 mohaa servers on one cpu and have no problem.
I think that it might be your "internet Neighborhood FTP Client" that takes the cpu usage from the server.

hmmm.... don't have a clue.... it's a commerical server.... doubt that it is "Internet Neighborhood FTP Client" cause it's been running since I started server watcher... though Server watcher ..... I've had up only a very little.... because I can't get the messages to go in a predictable manner....
Cobra.... your example is basically a basement server.... maybe that is what Server Watcher is good for...
We rent a commerical server.. so I have my tools on a seperate machine... wouldn't care if ServerWatcher used 90% CPU....
Telling you As soon as I start server watcher MOHAA Spy shows every one's ping go to 999... so haven't been able to leave it running....
Although SSH might be an option for a basement server.... commercial Servers are not going to allow you to run secondary programs.... ssh included....
They can't guarentee a good game if the users load it up with extra programs.... as previous posts in many different companies I have dealt with...
Think I'll drop out of this tread as this just is not a product... in current form that seems to have any use beyound the basement server crowd

Maybe you don’t read that - Have you ever looked in the Server ? Maybe MOHAA Spy is the problem.
I can imagine a connection Problem if ServerWatch is polling the user stats all the time. Strange if is shows you if 999 than but possible.
In fact:
if you don’t mess up the ServerWatch Setup that cant happed.
ServerWatch is just sending some Rcon Stuff but if the Setup is rigth not that many that the Server lags. If you have Lags you just have to adjust the Setup. For Example you can Setup ServerWatch even in a way that it is only polling for a new User list each Minute.
Maybe im able to check the "internet Neighborhood FTP Client" and look for a problem there, but i don’t thing so if you don’t have an CPU problem. The only problem I can imagine the "internet Neighborhood FTP Client" have is that he is transferring the hole file again each time and than you have much traffic and that maybe slow downs the Server, but should not be the problem if it is a rental one and there not shaping you’re Traffic that much that it start lagging if you have an ftp transfer.
You are not interested any longer so you maybe don’t mind, but the Problem is fixable for sure. First step is to look at the debug window and take a look what Rcon Debug comes around.

At the moment it donw work like Autokick. The problem you have is the Event you have choosen which trigger the Message. If you have choosen to send it with a delay of 2 Minutes every kill so you will see the Message 2 Minutes afer a kill.
For thinks like that you should use the map restart Event an make sure that it is no map restart event from a special user. That can be done by setting the player name filter to ^$.
That the map event in combination with that filter will trigger only one time if a map is restarted.
Now you can setup the same Message with the same Filter and Event with different delays.
Maybe 120, 240, …. (because the delay are seconds)
Maybe you take a look in my DefaultConfig example. There is a welcome message and a message that shows how many players are playing at the moment and what the ping of them looks like. The ping Message is setup like the one you want, it is coming in different delays after a Server Map Restart.

Are you sure that the Chat Messages are in the log file ? It should look like “dmmessage: …”
The chat options should be bring the Server to know on the Setup Line and not in the Config as far as I know. The Options you need to add to you’re start up link can be found in the Read me.

I tested the "internet Neighbourhood FTP Client" for myself and it is not working for ServerWatch, because it is caching the log file and so
ServerWatch will not get to know the new Log Data.
You simply can test that. Just open the log file from the Server with the "internet Neighbourhood FTP Client". Than play a little while and open it again. You will not see any changes and that is the Problem.
Witch that new background knowledge its hard to get you’re lagging problems because ServerWatch is not doing much on you’re Server without the Log file.
If you use the "internet Neighbourhood FTP Client" if would be the same as you give an emty file to ServerWatch and say ok that’s my log file. I think ServerWatch will work, but only stuff which need RCON only, is working if you have no live log file of the Mohaa Server.

I had a problem this weekend with ServerWatch set to watch for teamkills, it kicked and banned people that were NOT teamkilling. In fact, after 5 consecutive enemy kills, I received a warning about team killing. They were all the other team. Something is wrong either in my setup or the code.

I am running a test version of pre4 0.8.3
And i can tell that i have been running it fore some time.
And it do not kick wrong people anymoore.
The first one with TK detection did becase of a bug not seen at the time it was put out on the internet.
When people autoselect teams.
The serverWatch dont get what teams they join.
And that made some troubel.
But that bug is fixed and some other stuff fixed to.
So when the 0.8.3 are put out fore download.
It should work just fine.

i Have made a small info site for how to set up a server with serverwath.
I am still working on it.
But i think you all will get it to work by reading what i have allredy put out.
The Picture on the page is Flash and works like the real ServerWatch setup.

That help guide i put together tok me about 2 days to make.
And even Enforcer put some ours in it.
but i will make some new updates to it.
So it should fit the new one with the updates.
And still we are missing some info in it.
I am using a (Windows 2000 server), not a (Win 2000 advanced server)
And it run good in the server.
I did use XP but i got trouble with it after a friend had been in the computer. i havent a clue what he did.
So i put in 2000 server.
But i think the best i yet to come from ServerWath.
Well you got the Autourdate in this on.
but when you see the ServerWatch 0.9.0 then you will se some moore cool features.
That is meant to be the version with anticheat implented in ServerWatch.
And we have found a new way fore the Anticheat client to get in touch with the server,
That will make it work good even behind a Router/nat.
Becase the trouble some of the anticheats have had with a client is that the users havent got the client to connect to the server.
But in the ServerWatch client.
It os allways the client that will take contackt with the Server
And then the server will find its own way back to the client.
But the other way around that the Server tryes to take contact with a client that is behind a router. is not easy to do.
becase then the port that the client are using have to be set up as a virrtuel server for the internal ip fore that computer.
But what we have done.
I think will not get that problem.
And ServerWatch can be run on a remote computer.
Even then it is noe problem,
Since we have found a way fore the Client to get that ip that is fore the ServerWatch to get put in by it self.
But we have not started to test this client yet.
So we can run into some problems when we start testing it.
But i think it should work good.
So in some time when EnForcer have codet it all and we have testet it.
you will all get the possibility to use this allo.
And i can tell you one of the cool features.
You can ban people fore ever.
And it dont mater if they change the ip or nick.
They can not get in to the server they are banned from
before the admin had taken away the ban.
or the timelimit set by the admin is gone away.
people that chaets will get banned fore ever from the server they have been cheating in.
I hope that a lots of Servers will run this when all feautres are impented to the ServerWatch.
Becase that will stop a lots of the people that are just runing around and TK ing and destroying the game fore the people that are having fun in a server.
it dont even needs to be a admin in the server.
Becase SW will do all the work.
Warn and kick Temkillers, respawn killers and most of the cheaters,
and the admin him self disides the timelikit set on the bans fore TK and Respawnkilling.
I havent a clue how many our Enforcer have been using on this tool now.
But fore about 30 days ago it was moore than 90.000 lines of codes in it
And it will be the most POWERFUL tool fore the mohaa game.
So use the tool we are workign so hard to make fore you all.
It will not be easy to set that tool up.
it will take some time.
But i am damn secure, that it is worth the time that they use to put it in.
even if its means you have to change the OS to make it work.
Becase ServerWatch makes it moore fun to be a admin.
you dont have to sit and babysit the server all the time.
you can play and have fun, and the serverwatch takes care of the rest.

I do have one problem, If i leave serverwatch running, or if i minimize it. it will not open back up, or the serverwatch program goes black, what is interesting is, if i have a client connected, he can still see the pings, and different players, nothing else, wondering if anyone could help me fix this

but it is no problem to run a mohaa server that is connected to a router.
That is easy.
Let say you have a smc router.
You go ro run: and type this.
http://192.168.123.254 or http://192.168.2.1 or something like that.
Remeber that this is just a example.
And you go to virritual server and open the ports that The mohaa server is using. By default 12203 and you put in the inernal ip fore the computer that is running the mohaa server.
Same with the computer that runs the ServerWatch. you can run that one on another computer behind your router.
Then you show it the port that the clients are hoking up to
By default: 23203 And show it the way to the internal ip fore
the server that runs the ServerWatch.
It is not a problem to make virritual server fore serverwatch and mohaa server on the same computer.
Then it is just to make 2 virritual servers with the same internal ip
Or if you have ServerWatch and mohaa server on the same computer.
Then you find where it says DMZhost. and tell it the intrenal ip fore the computer you run as a server. and they you enable it. and it will allso work.
That is how easy it is.
The thing that will not need to be open fore is the Client fore the anticheat that every one that want to play in the server needs to use
when the anticheat is comming.
This is to make it as use friendly as possibel fore the players that wants to your the server to play.
If you dident understand what i tryed to explain.
then tell me what kind of router you have.
and i will see if that is a router that i know.
if it is
then i will tell you the right way how to do it.
But it is in the setup window where you put in your needed things to connect up with your internett connection with the Router.
Insde there you should fine the virritual server stuff.
and the dmz host.

Yes i was using windows 2000 when i had this problem, thanks for the fast responce. I think it is really interesting cause it is still functioning partly even though the graphical interface hangs up. Also here is my other problem i have set up my server so that it logs chat, it worked when i was on my other O.S. but now that im on windows 2000 it is not working, im not sure what the trouble is, here is the thing i know that qconsole.log is logging chat because i can see it when i view the file, i can also see what people are saying when i am watching the server box. I dont know what i am doing wrong, i am running serverwatch from the same system that i have the server on, but that should not be a problem i have it set up for direct logfile, and that is about it, mabye i have it so that it is not uploading the chat section, i dont know. Oh instead of posting here should i talk to you through email? would it be faster? and would it be more benificial to testing your program.

The problem with your chat log i gues.
is that you have marked in the log file setup that is should delet the old one evey time you restart.
And if that wont work.
I gues it should work when you get your next update.
If it is something spesial you wonder about.

You should not need to have the developer 2 and the logfile 3 in the cfg file.
Becase you should have them in the Target line.
I see now what you mean.
i was thinking the log file dident log the chat and saved it.
But you mean the chat in the game in the chat window.
Well if you think about console: bla bla messages.
They will not show in the chat window.
it is set up fore they to not show
Becase some people have a hole lots of console messages set up to run.
And we dident want the chat to be spammed with that.
So it just shows what you type from the SW
and what the players type.
I will take a look at it.
And talk with EnForcer about it
and we will help you to get that chat to work ;)
Have you goten everything else working ?
The TK Detection, console messages and all that stuff.
If you can make a screenshot of every page of the setup you have.
And make them a bit smaler and send them to me.
That would be a easy way to help you.
Becase then i could see what you have set up.
And mabe find stuff to help you with.

ok, i installed a new operating system, and this seems more interesting now. I downloaded the newer version of serverwatch with the autoupdate, as i said before, if i minimize the program or leave it running the GUI locks up, yet clients could still recconnect and still monitor who was on the server. The problem has gotten better, now if i minimize the program the GUI dies, well i cant un minimize, but now clients can connect and perform all functions. I dont know what is happening, but that is my only serious problem, also, my chat is still not working

The chat you should be abel to see from other people.
the only chat you cant see is what you set the ServerWatch up to say.

I have made some changes to your Target line in the ShortCut fore the server.
And put in some info about what error i found in the SW setup.
And i have changed some stuff in your cfg file fore the game.
And you couldent see what team the players are in.
So please send me screenshots of every page of the setup of your serverwatch.
Or you can push the save config to file.
And send me that config you use in ServerWatch.
And i can make the changes needed and send it back to you.

This program do not work on a linux computer.
But you can set up a SSH to the logfile.
And run it remotly from a windows computer.
Or you can use it from a windows computer on your network with direct access.
I have never tryed it on a SPearHead server.
It can be that we have to change some of the Event to make it fit perfect to SpearHead.
But that will not happend before the Anticheat and the rest is up and running for the mohaa.
But i will make some testes with it on a spearhead server one of the days.
But i gues some of it will work on a Spearhead server.

If you go to the userlist window.
And you rigkt click the name you like to look at,
and go to show stats from User.
Then you will se the stats of the player online that you like to see.

Well everyone that wants to play if you are going to use the anticheat.
But i think it will be fore the best if a lots of servers would start to use it.
becase then they would have to start using it most places.
And if tyeh dont cheat.
I cant see the problem.
becase people that dont cheat.
most likly will like to play on a server with no cheats.
Mabe it will be a bit slow in the start.
but in a short time i think the people that dont cheat.
Will like to play in servers where others are stoped from cheating.

Go to Extra-Menu in ServerWatch.
Choose "create Regular Expression" add youre Clan Prefix as the String you would like to match.
Press the Generate Button.
Now the String in the Second Edit-Field is the Regular Expression you can use.
It should be something like: ({TR})

Go to general behavior
If he has a ip like this : 217\.8\.158\.195
you type just the start of it : 217\.8
Becase the 2 first numbers most of the time is the same.
Then that isp can allways come back in.
But i will talk to Enforcer and see if it is possible to add a nick to it allso.
And not only IP`s

Whenever server watch is running....people are getting kicked for name being used already or for blank name but that is not the case. Can this be disabled? It really loves to kick certain members of my squad for this even though nobody is using their name or they dont have blank spaces. Anyone else have this problem?

Can you discribe me the kick message?
People get kicked if there rename on the Server to a allready known nick. Did you mean that?
And at the moment you can not disable that.

It really is not. But the Ip Filter should work also, normal ips only changes the C Class IP or sometimes 4 B Class ranges in a special countryside.
But np at all I will add that feature to one of the next versions.

Ok i have an idea, but i have no idea if this would be possible, right now the way serverwatch works is, if a person autojoins it kicks them, well i think that it would be cool if it forced them to spectate instead of kick, then send them the console message, this way they are not kicked, and they then select a team, i think this would be benificial because people get mad when they get kicked all the time

What about that last idea Enforcer and Cobra? That is the problem we have. Most people don't mind joining a team rather than using auto-join but they get frustrated when they get kicked. Forcing them to spectate and then giving them the meassage about joining a team would be cool.

It is a anticheat client that all have to use to play in the servers.
But then the good part.
It is the best anticheat ever.
It can force screenshots and auto send them top the server the sec after it is taken.

IF you like to have a server with anticheat only - just do it
if you want one without - np at all
if you want one with support anticheat and just send warings for users that are not trusted - thats also possible

New question. What does the option for "Search for Plink Zombies" mean? If I search for plink zombies on our server it reports back that they were found and asks if I want to kill them. Should I?

Not sure, but i thought i remember that this program only works if its your own server and not rented servers. (ex. ilan, fragcentral, art of war) Does anybody know if thats true. I have a rented server and would like to know if this program can be uploaded and workable on that rented server. thanks
It can force screenshots and auto send them top the server the sec after it is taken.

well frist you guys are going to make it client and server side.
say guy 1 test it out on him self. then finds code that sends out encrypted or not. he opens a tcp sends code to self. finding that he can tell it to send the pic to him self from any weres tho tcp.(we are taking about a app that will work on manny server here)so if it works from ip and client # or one or both any way you look at it any one that has your app and moh:aa will be open to this kind of thing.
then trys on guy 2 this well work making him lag.
2nd thing. if code is found then used in tcp and ask for even more stuff. this could be a prob. and a v nice thing for ummm guys that like that kind of thing. if you get my point.................

but just one hint. nobody can connect to AntiCheat Client. It always connects to the Server.
so your saying (not to go to far with this) that no one can put a Port Proxy from say guy 1 ip:24.0.0.0 to frist hub and set there for him to go in a game. and make him self the server frist before he gets on the real server.(2mins) and stays on the poor guy tell he uploads a bat and downloads tho the Email or what ever your going to uses to get the pic from ?

The Anticheat client is made in a way that it is not possibel to connect into.
It is the Anticheat that allways connects to the Anticheat server.
And after the client connects to the server.
Then the server can start to comunicate with the client.
So as you see it is not posibel to connect into it.
And then it is safe.
Becase as long as the anticheat allways connects to the server.
Then it is no way to get it to connect to a wrong place.
And the anticheat client dont hook up to the server before 60 sec after he has joined the server, So it is not possibel to connect to the wrong server then.
Let us say it like this.
the client are a bit inteligent, ot hooks up to the server by itself even if the Anticheat server has another IP than the Mohaa server has.
So i gues this will be a safe way to do this.
The reason for it built this way is to make it wery easy to use for people.
They dont have to put in the ip for hand that they connect to.
Just start the anticheat client and minimize it and use gamespy or all seeing eye to connect to servers.
If you connect to a server that dont have the anticheat.
It will never try to log in.
If you log into a server that has the anticheat it will hook up by it self.
And disconnect the sec you leave the server again.

1: Please ask everything you want to know and go not to mutch into details :D (i dont get it released quicker with answer a tons of questions about it ;- ) - but on the other hand maybe one is really needed to make it better *F* so its hard to find the rigth way for me )
2: very hard to intercept connections because you have to hack the hole protocol (encryption + data structure) (if somebody do that i cange the way of encryption)
3: as cobr@ said it is not possible to hook up into the AntiCheat
4: the AntiCheat Client has really a limit way of communicate with the server and don’t let every information’s out the system because you don’t tell the client what to in special is just command driven and that is only a limit set - no bigger scripts or commands that are executed on the AntiCheat client only predefined command set
(and in that command set no private information about your pc that you don’t want to seen by anybody else is transferred only computer stuff that has no meaning at all - the only thing is the screenshot part)
So you maybe agree even if some get it working to intercept a connection you cant do anything on the ServerWatch AntiCheat Client pc. Only 5 pre defined commands that give them some that you will even give them if he ask you nice and soft ;-) so nothing to scare about at all.
I really find it necessary to ask your questions because than we can disuses stuff like that.
One last word – its hard to **** up your connection with AntiCheat because you can setup the bandwidth you allow AntiCheat to use. You only have a problem if it is that few that you timing out on a request the AntiCheat server has send you and so got disconnected from it because you don’t set all the wanted information’s and maybe try to hide something. The Client only is a little dump program what never think a shit of what it is doing also it DON’T decides if you are cheating or not so it is possible to define your own private Setup for your Server.
BTW: if you have important questions and you think not everybody should know about you maybe send me an mail and we can discuss in more detail.
PS: I really hate to talk about features of programs that are not release but I think AntiCheat must be an exceptions because it controls your way of playing and can claim you cheating what i think is an really hard point.

AHHH i cant get FTP to work, i have tryed all that i know, and still nothing, it is very confuzing and i have a tech support guy who couldnt figure it out, please help me out, i have my uname right, i have password right, and i have the ip right, mabye you should have a browse button so you can select your file, after you have uname, pass and ip for ftp you should be able to log into ftp, and then select the file. Thanks for your help, im really stuck here.

You need to show it the way to the qcosnole.file

Green_Falcon: Is your server a Linux machine? In Linux there will be a hidden directory called .mohaa and that is where the qconsole file is put. When on your server do an rcon pw path and it will show this file if it is using it.
If so, your path would look like this: .mohaa/main/qconsole.log

Just updated our server to ServerWatch .8.9b and so far so good. Messaging is working better and the stats are working like they should from what I can tell.
The problem we had before was that after a little time ServerWatch would stop logging skins, team-kills, and sprees but the messages would still work. The real test will be tonight when we get the server filled up.
I'll let you know and keep up the good work on this program.

Is that a function of the new release? I didn't see any mention of that in the read-me. If so I'd like to know how to do it too.
And, your flash help page is really good Cobra but is there anyway to update it with all of the new stuff and flash for the latest release? Probably a huge pain so no biggy if not but it may help out the guys trying to get it working right.

Nope that RELEASE is NOT the ANTICHEAT release.
Im working on that and by doing that i found a lot of small bug and so i fixed them. And this b version is just a release for you to get an idea how the new internal libraries are working. The release you can download now is the same im working with im just disable all AntiCheat features with a compile parameter.

Uh OH, i seem to have a problem, here is my problem, with 8.9 i had no problem when i minimized serverwatch, it worked fine, updated chat and users, but when i upgraded to 8.9b it no longer refreshes while minimized, i dont know why, it does not lock up because if i bring it back to full view, i can let it sit for a few seconds and it works fine, it just doesnt operate while minimized.

Ok, I take it back. I'm having huge problems with the stats now. Everything else seems to be ok though. When I go into the setup option to the statistics report tab I enter my name there. I just save to file and point it to the folder I have created. I also have it to display the top twenty players. Before with this setup I would get stat info about everything including kill to death ratios. For some reason when I do it now and I save the new config and I reopen the program all the info I put in is changed and the stats won't work. Anyone got an idea?

sounds like a bug.
As i said i have rewritten lot of internal structures from 0.8.9 to 0.8.9b to give you a little impression - we are talking about 15000 Lines of Code
So im sorry but its really possible that we have a problem there not. I will take a look what’s going wrong.
I would love an error report (can be done with the extra menu) next time because than i just can read it with my normal mails - thx

1. i have found the "bug" - its a feature to consume less resources :D
Only the _display_ on the Forms stops _nothing_ more.
I had forgotten that i had implemented that.
I have made that optional now like all features *G*
Default is disabled --> refresh also if minimized.
To disable the refresh while minimized you have to change
"NoRefreshifhidden" to 1
This will be implemented in the update i release today - what i already mentioned one post above.
