Does anyone else have the problem of flashing white and black boxes coming out of walls and things when you start firing at someone?

You have a blood mod installed that is not compatable with Spearhead. Take it out and it will stop.
I use Heinrich's Blood mod, there are others that work too. Go to alliedassault.com or modtheater.com and look for blood mods that will work with Spearhead.

Thanks for the tip, however i have no blood mods in my mainta directory just one in my main dir which means it should not affect Spearhead !!!

any other ideas ?

btw i think it is blood related as always happens when someone is shot or killed !

FeSter--take the one out of the main folder. Find one thats Spearhead compatable and put it in your mainta folder. That will solve your problem. Spearhead still uses certain mods in the main folder too thats why you are having the problem.

cool, cheers for that info, i find it especially interesting that spearhead uses main at all, muddies the water a bit !!

You don't have to get rid of the blood mod in the main folder, just put the new blood mod in the mainta folder.

hmm, well I got rid of then all and I still get it !!!

i had one ages ago called pak6.pk3 , can someone just tell what size that file is in a standard install as not sure i have original

Standard install with patch 1.11, my pak6 file is 10.6MB.
You must get the right blood mod, the one for Spearhead is different than the one for MOHAA,

cant say the blood mod looks any better but cheers anyway.

the no rocket mod is something i was looking for (and posted on) the other day !!
