Sorry, Yo, but that other thread's scarry and I thought I'd try to get support specific for my problem.
I have DMz Dog Tags, Code and Delator running on the server. Following the advice of someone in the other thread, I rewrote the DMPrecache to include exec lines for each mod. However, for some reason, now dumpuser isn't including the cheat vars (nofog, etc.). I'm assuming this means that it's not able to detect the cheats now. What's wrong?
Let me know and I'll be happy to send you all the files to have a look at. :)

Another very important thing to add is a bug with some maps. Not sure what's causing it, but for some maps there's a bug where it plays the map like it's SP only from a server with multiple players (obviously without AI, this is just basically a MP game without scores, real objectives, no chat, etc.).
Let me explain. I have the latest Delator and uploaded the mod with support for Dogtags and Code. I have Code and Dog Tags as well. Dog Tags has scrolling messages turned off and I have options for ping and server time unchecked for Delator. With some maps, the server will begin playing them as though they're SP maps with those settings (Thunder 2 was the first one I discovered this on... now I'm finding other maps that have this issue as well - perhaps something in the cache or scripted in the scr file... dunno).
When we removed Code, the problem still existed. Same when we removed Dog Tags. When we removed Delator, though, the problem cleared up immediately. I changed some options like unchecking support for DogTags and Code for the mod and that seemed to fix it. However, the latest mod shows the same problem and there's no known explaination.
I will search out for a common script block/thread in those maps and see what it is. But I can't guaruntee that I'll have much success in that. My first guess is that it has to do with the Scoreboard scrolling. BTW, this is on a Spearhead server.
I'll keep playing with it and keep you informed, but so far I haven't a clue.

I'm not sure, I'll try to do some tests with that map...
Delator launches other scripts from delator.scr, not DM_precache.scr, that's why it's so weird, since the map shouldn't really care about delator.scr (it can't assume in any way wether it is or not present on the server).
I'll try to download it and see what's going on.

Regards,
YoChoyI don't understand what the problem is. I thought it might have something to do with the scoreboard messages.
In any case, I'm also concerned that Delator's not able to check for cheats installed because when I do a dumpuser I don't see the cvars that Delator's supposed to look for.

I think I've got it figured out. When bringing up the server in ASE we were finding the name of the server was coming up as "unscanned". When looking at the log files I also noticed that when ever someone did a getstatus (Gamespy or ASE does a getstatus to find out who's on and the other info) it would return an error that the infostring has been exceeded. I cut out a ton of crap from my default config file and found that some of those maps were starting to work again. :)
Anyway, I'll let you know if something comes up that changes my mind on this.

Update: It seems that I may have been mistaken, but I can't be sure. Sometimes the cvars Delator creates are there and sometimes they're not. Since the amount of cvars can only change by the maps, I'll actually have to see if I can count the amount of cvars on each map and see which maps work and which don't - thus finding a cutoff point. But that's about as close as I can get to figuring that one out.
If this is true, then that could mean a limitation in how many apps you can use to curb the use of cheats. For instance, I love the way Delator detects cheats and all, but I'd love it Code was built in so that I could determin what portions of the mod I'd like to use when building delator.pk3. By doing it that way, you wouldn't have unnecessary cvars for things that aren't being used. Same thing with DogTags would be good, too.
I realise that this is like taking code from another person's hard work and therefore may be unethical from a programmer's point of view (I'm a scripter myself, so I completely understand). But I think in terms of coming up with an "all-in-one" tool, credit could be given to the appropriate people for the various code. I mean, everyone deserves credit, but we all should be on the same team, no?
