I'm running about 9 servers on a dual amd box and thing have been running fine...however...occasionally, I do hit some server lag. Try to narrow down the root cause for this and was wondering if setting developer=2 and logging will cause performance issues? Should I be setting these two to be off in order to keep performance up on the servers?

Thanks,
Anthony

Anything additional that the processor has to do is going to impact performance. How much? You would have to test it and see.

Thanks,
Just wanted to reply back and mention that I have tested it without any type of logging with a startup line with just the netport and a server.cfg file and the results are amazing. The unfortunate part is that I can't use any of the server side admin tools that relies on the logging..but I would trade that in for a huge performance gain in a second. By making this change, I have optimized the servers from producing frequent [server slow] indicators to practically zero indications of any server lag.

Thanks,
Anthony
