hi all,
does anyone know if it is possible to set a time on the motd? To let it stay longer on the screen.
If so, i'd be most thankfull if anyone could tell me how.

I don't think you can change how long the MOTD displayes.
If I'm wrong someone will be by to correct me.

I could try to set the same message instead of the *press fire to join* message. any ideas where i could do that?

get a copy of localization.txt from alliedassault.com.
Its a zipped file, and open the text and search for "press".. Its alphabetical.. The first part of the sentence is for the moha.exe to recognize, the second is what text will appear on your screen and otheres if you are hosting..

Example.....
{ "took himself out of commision" "couldnt stand life any longer" }
puter looks for what clients see
