Anyone seen this yet? We've witnessed it a couple times recently on our server. The player is kneeling behing the wall, still firing the MG42.. apparantly he can see through the wall and lob grenades! what's going on here?

This is what i call the mg-nade trick. It has been happening alot on our server all of a sudden. They cant see though the wall, but they have the same perspective as if they were standing up, firing it normally. Kinda like the ladder trick. You have the same perspective but people cant see you.

I have installed MaMmapfix on my server and it stops everything, land sharking, team switch but it still doesnt stop the MG42 trick even though it says it will. Could I have a setting wrong? Or possibly installed it wrong? Would realism (CKR) interfere with it?

MAM_mapfix uses what we thought was working (force the player to stand when near an MG), but unfortunately did not work correctly all of the time. I recommend you take a look at my Goodies' mod (add-on to MAM), it will stop 99% of the attempts, but it still not perfect.

Great! I will do that right away! One last question. Do I still need MAMmapfix installed or does Hammers Goodies take care of those other problems too? So can I uninstall Mapfix?
Thanks for your help!

Hammer -
I installed hammers goodies and it works great! The only thing is the mg42 trick as I understand it forces -attackprimary. This does not help when they come into the MG42 with the secondary attack held down on the nade. Is there a way that I can add -attacksecondary to the trigger also? disable them both?

Oops, completely forgot about that ... I'll have it for the next release of Goodies.
