I have the possibility to have a 16 man spearhead server. Some one has given me the space and ftp access but they don't have the game.

How do I go about setting up the files and directories necessary to run the server remotely. The person is very busy and won't really have time to set the thing up for me and it's in a different country so no chance of me doing it in person. Is there a way to copy the approtriate files over?

Thanks,

JAS

You can ftp the files to the machine but someone will have to physically run the exe and answer the installation questions.
You might try asking the question at the EA tech support site, maybe they have commands to run a "silent install".

what you would have to do is upload all the file from MOH:AA up there aswell as a copy of firedaemon (www.firedaemon.com). I suggest setting up MOH:AA up on your computer with the config file and all the mods you want before uploading. What firedaemon will do is keep the server running. Even if u kill it with rcon it will start right back up in the matter of seconds. If you look carfully in there site there shure be a sample config file for running a moh:aa server with firedaemon. Try your best to get it going with that but if you still need a hand give me a shout. :)

I have figured out how to do it.

My friend set up all the files for me including control files and we're using firedeamon to restart the server. I have created 5 config files and i'm now able to change them when i please.

You can execute a config file via rcon. Esp handy when you want to change from TDM to objective.

Thanks guys,
