Too high ping

I´m having trouble with my server. I have 10/10mbit and my friends pings are 60-80 (They have 8/1mbit). Pings shouldn´t be so high. Any tips to get pings down?

And yes. My english sucks.

That's mostly down to the max rate setting and the processor/memory powering the server.

The people connecting need to set their connection method in multiplayer options to something appropriate, you can't control that.
