MOHSTATS NOT WORKING PLEASE HELP

I have my server running smooth, but i want to add stats to my server, i know that this can be done with the log file but i am not sure how to set it up to record the correct information, right now i have it set up in the cfg file to set log 1 which starts the log file, but it does not contain the correct information. It needs to record when someone is shot etc. I know that this can be done please write me if you can help. The stats program that i am using is called gamestats and seems like it will be a real good program. Later Green Falcon

I am actually using GIBSTATS, all i need the log file to do is announce deaths, players, that sort of thing
