renting a server and what mods should i use

Hi I have decided to rent a server and am thinking of going with a server from warzone gamers and have heard that this is a good one. Is it does anyone know. By the way what mods should i install for this server and how do i keep cheaters out. Thanks to all who help me out, later

Welp..I like to use dmz-dogmeat for the map fixes and forcing forced mods to be off. Delator is also a good thing. That should help with 95% of the population that wants to try and cheat.

Besides mods and an autokick proggie, that's pretty much all you would need since most of the stuff would be taken care of by the hosting provider. As far as if they are good or not, I'm kinda biased since I rent game servers myself :) so my answer is a bit swayed :)

I have a SH server with warzonegamers and have had good luck with them. Right now my server is in San Jose, but its being moved to Kansas City. They have been great, tech support is always there when I want them. Their prices have been really good too, compared to the other services that are out there.

My MOHAA server is through Ilan and I have no complaints about them either.

and server is totaly safe.only u gota look how u set up programs .becuzz if u make every 1 minut some rcon comands from that progrtams it will litle lagg your server

DMZ Dogtag beta 1.7 if you are only gonna run one thing is great..... I have since replaced that with Delator 2.0..... it creates a mod that does all that Dogtag does plus a couple of more things.....

Currently I run Delator 2.0 and Crowkings autokick against my server and believe I get most things.

I'd be most interested in how you like Warzone,,,, they are a new one on me.... we currently use Combat Games in Dallas, have used Xgame (stink-they just don't care)

I'm a little curious, what's combatgamingservers like?? We have a 20 man Spearhead server with ILAN that runs great, we've had good experience with ILAN so have been sticking through the price increase - but does anybody have a SH server with combatgaming?? I'd like to see what it's like. Thanks

Hmmm.... Guess it makes a difference where and who U are.... Haven't owned a SH server yet....

Left Ilan.... the most Laggy thing ever..... but obviously they do OK for someone or they wouldn't stay....

Xgame Chicago..... just didn't care.... everything was "our" prob

Combat Games..... (has a Boston we're using Dallas)

Never too busy.... always help..... even when it "is" our problem...

We're with cyberseals.net, so far so good, server is fast and tech-support is always there apparently...

We are using cyberseals.net also. Seems ok for a 20 man MOHAA server. Gets a little laggy with 14 and up players but they are working on it. Tech support has been great!

next,crowkings autokick in my case sucks my CPU dry (but i only have a 1.2GHz computer,i am sure it works better on more GHz)
Delator with Dogtags and Code security runs pretty good along with MOHAA CI.
Realism or no Realism?if Realism,go with CKR 1.1.
Map addons?these give a little extra eye-candy to MOH:AA maps( default maps).or just do a search on www.modtheater.com search for map addons,mods,etc.below is a link to some addons.

And of course the server.cfg,check the guides on this site.

Servers,i have xgameservers.com,excellant ping (latency),but this site has more slots and is cheaper,they are soon to have 3 servers on the east coast.
