Stats for MoHAA

Anyone know something easier to use than MOHSTATS? I run a Windows machine and my server is with xgameservers.com

Unfortunately the logs from xgameservers.com don't output frag lines in either AA or SH. I've tried everything including working with Benh on the matter directly, but still nothing. It has something to do with the way the q3 engine works for MOH that MOH is the only one they can't get stats to work with.

Did you talk to them about MOHSTATs, then? That's only a daily update and it apparently works for everyone else...

note that to be able to get log files for mohaa with obituaries, you will need to run the game (server) with +set developer 1 on the command line (or shortcut).

The only other problem people have had is if they were using a cutomized localization.txt

I have an interesting story here:

We had no problems outputting frags on our former windows server. It was running the MOHAA.exe with 'set dedicated 1' on the command line.

Then one day I decided to switch to the mohaa_dedicated.exe and... guess what: the console didn't log frags anymore, not even with set developer 1 (we were running the very same cfgs, only the exe was changed).

So Chickenboo, you might want to check with your provider which executable they are running (the linux dedicated version logs fine every frag, we are using that right now).

Well, also I developed our own stats system for my clan: MueteStats 1.0. It's on spanish, but I think you'll have no problem understanding most of it:

It very different from the rest, since it writes frags to an access database, and thus it needs an asp server to output the results.

It's not available as a "packed" version, but I can zip the required files and send them to you. Currently it has this limitations:

As said, you'll need an asp server in order to use them (of course you'll have to edit the asp pages in order to integrate them on your site).

It only stores data from the last 30 days (so that the averages are accurate most of the time). However, you can do a backup copy of the database each month, so you have all the data stored and can check the "server history" at any time.

Finally, it's not "spearhead compatible", since sh lacks the body parts on his log (it will be sh ready more sooner than later, as our clan is moving to sh).

Ah so it integrates itself into your website and automatically posts stats, never mind then i thought it was of the same nature as autokick and would just write kills to a note pad .txt file. sorry bout that.
