I am wondering if anyone was encountering the same problems as I. I can't same to switch between screens while playing COD. This can get annoying because when I keep AIM on and when people IM me, I have to quit COD in order to talk to them. I also found out that COD crashes while my computer is overclocked. Any reasons why?

Alt-Enter will get you into a windowed COD then you can get to your IM
As far as the O/C and crash, sorry :?

Running background apps like an IM affects your ping too, so keep that in mind. As for OC'ing your rig........are you keeping it properly cooled? When your machine is running basic apps it doesn't have to work so hard. One of the more intensive things you can do on a PC is gaming. The more gaming you do the hotter your machine gets and the harder it works...thus you can cause a lock up. Are you OC'ing your CPU, RAM, or Video? Or all 3?

of course it is cooled well. this problem is only happening with COD. I play a ton of more games and everything is fine.

Here is a bit of not-so-interesting info.
Cod is designed so when it installs on your system - it takes advantages of your resources.
If you have a crappy system - it will try and configure it to run on that - if you have a bad-ass system it will utilize as much as it can and set itself accordingly.
If you had made changes to your system since installing COD - it could be creating resource issues (what and how much to use).
If your machine was overclocked - and has since been downgraded or is not "OC'd" properly, there could be fluctuating resources that throw the game off.
This is only something to chew on, I am not stating this is your problem.
