View Full Version : Invulnerable mod on spawn, and countering spawn campers

Is there a way to tweak the config's to make your char invulnerable for a few seconds upon spawn? We have people that spawn camp to increase stats....it gets old.

I also heard that once people take over a spawn point there is a twek that will re-direct you to the opposing spawn areas to counter this..anyone have a clue?? :evil:

The invulnerablity is part of Spearhead set by the "set sv_invulnerabletime" though I haven't seen anything like it for MOHAA classic. A MOD that did that for MOHAA classic would be very good. As for spawning in other areas away from the enemy, most of the standard maps do this and I think it is something that is built into a map. Spawn points in TDM have to designated which side they are for, Axis or Allies. In order for a map to spawn you away from the enemy, there has to be spawn points all over the map for both sides. I've noticed that a lot of custom maps tend to have spawn points only in certain areas and once those areas are over ran by the enemy, it's hard to spawn without getting nailed!
