View Full Version : Smoke Nades burn longer? Help?

Wondering if anybody knows how to make the smoke nades burn longer?
Also if there was a way to make the the new rifles shoot faster or slower...the firedelay seems to have no effect.

I just read this on the TMT forums. You increase the value of "dmlife" in the .tik file. The post is on the front page if you want to have a look.
I can't tell you why the firedelay wouldn't work. It's worked on mine, (despite some problems with the SVT that I will post on seperately).

When you figure out what line is the fuse time, could you drop by here?

I was able to increase the fuse time and the burn time...but it also created a slow down of the FPS. I am wondering if we need to increase the area of affect also to decrease the FPS slow down. I was able to make the fuse time about 7 to 10 seconds and the smoke time was set to about 50 seconds. Any ideas?

I'm working on a CKR port for SH with my own touches and will give this a try... I'll come back here with my notes...
BTW, if anyone's interested, we've got a thread on AAN (http://www.allaboutnothing.net) going about what mods work and which don't with SH... You need to be a member to read it, unfortunately, but check it out anyway.

Wrote a simple mod to get more smoke grenades. One just isn't enough!!
It's on the alliedassault downloads.

Right, well I adjusted the ammo of all types in relation to the main wpn. Increasing or decreasing those numbers is easy enough. The problem is the burn time, not the number of nades. Thanks for letting us know though. Anyone have any luck with the fps problem?
