Has anyone tried running the original MOH stock maps, or any custom maps on their SpearHead server?

I can get the these maps to run, but when the list of maps ends it doesn't start over again, the server picks up with the SpearHead maps and ignores the selected list of maps.

Any suggestions on how to control the map rotation would be appreciated.

If you add the maps to your server.cfg base rotation you should be able to get them to be added each time the server runs. Or is this what you already tried?

Post here the end part of your .CFG file, with all of the maps and additional stuff about the maps.

It should also be noted that these maps work in the main folder... haven't tried it yet with mainta, but because these maps work with specific functions and files from the original pak files, you may consider keeping them in the main folder. Also note that some maps cause major issues with the SH engine. Especially maps that have working tanks and artillery (pak88 or flak88).

Also, make sure that your calling the maps properly. You don't call the map by the name of the .pk3. You call it be the directory and .bsp file located inside. Example: dm/mohdm1 can be found in maps/dm as a file named mohdm1.bsp. Sometimes there are more than one .bsp file. Use common sense there. And also make sure that your gametype is set to the proper setting (1,2 and 3 for DM types, 4 for OBJ types and 5 for TOW maps).

Ok I got my server running last night with SH tdm maps, SH tow maps, and AA maps (DV, Algiers, Remagen). Also there is an unofficial patch over at http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/ to get the Malta map to run on the full SH. I have loaded it on the server but have not put the malta map on my server.cfg file to test it out. If anyone has please post.


Oh ya all i did was just put the files in my map rotation line on the server.cfg file and it worked fine. dm/mohdm2, etc...

Why did they make these new maps so hard to spell with all of these german names. Drunkenhammer, Drunkelhamn, Drunken.....??? :D

I have tried that with TOW and AA objective maps and the don't function correctly. If I use a g_gametype 5 the objective maps don't end when everyone from one team dies and if I use g_gametype 4 then the TOW maps become TDM maps.
