I don't know about the rest of you folks, but to me, perhaps the most important attraction to MOHAA was the games graphics. The tones were soft, the contrast was smooth, and the player uniforms blended with the textures of the buildings and the landscapes to provide a realistic and believable experience.
With SpearHead, I must say that I am greatly disappointed. The new uniforms are not as well done, they have way too much contrast and do not present the smooth lines and soft tones as did MOHAA. With the exception of a few, the maps are well done. I've noted though that both Holland and Untersette have terrible frame rates, and way to much contrast in the imagery. Overall SpearHead comes off more like a video game than I would like to admit.
With this in mind I can't help but ask if RD or some other guru would have a fix or mod that would soften the edges and contrast just a bit? I doubt it, but it's worth asking.
Thanx,
