Spearhead FULL VERSION HOSTING problems...already...argh lol

My ilangame server is up, but we can not figure out how to get Gamespy and All Seeing Eye to put it in the right spot (i.e. Spearhead). As of now, the game comes up on regular MOHAA. Therefore, when you try to join it, it opens MOH:AA and confuses it, causing it to time out. We have tried all I know to get this problem to go away, but are having no luck. Does anyone have a sheet set up like the one Crow King did for the demo? The server. cfg file is quite strange for the full Spearhead. Its very vague and leaves out many of the new features. How do I re-add them into my cfg file?

Unfortunately, if any of you read the updates to All-Seeing Eye, they said that since Spearhead is considered a GameSpy exclusive, there's really nothing they can do to support it. Until EA's and GameSpy's exclusivity contract runs out (I'm not sure if it will ever run out or not), Spearhead server's are just going to come up under the MOHAA servers, with a file folder instead of the medal if you're looking in ASE.

This really is unfortunate, because I will never install GameSpy Arcade again on my computer. I did originally when MOH:AA came out, but I quickly un-installed it.

I also wish that you would be able to start MOH:AA or Spearhead with the Spearhead CD in the drive. It's kind of annoying to have to keep switching them when I feel like going to Spearhead or playing on my clan's server which is MOH:AA until next week.

Man, it's sounding like all of the hosting co's are getting SH going in no time. I'm still waiting to hear from mine as to how much more they're going to charge us for it. :? :rolleyes:

Yeah we have the same problem (i never use GS or ASE) but i was wondering why our server has been empty (like barren) since we converted to Spearhead...it's showing up in GS but under MOHAA, not under Spearhead - yet there's over 200 server listed in the Spearhead section...anyone have any ideas? :?: And it's not showing up at all using the internal game browser.

you will need to add:

along with the usual:
[code:1] svgamespy 1[/code:1]

i tried set ui_dedicated 1 (with 1 in quotes and without)
i tried set dedicated 1 (same)
i tried seta, setu, i tried it with the 'L' as described in the other thread...

our server is running, it's just not showing up in any search engine (except the regular moh) :evil:

so if you want to play go to 65.214.58.94 :D

someone else sent me word that it did not work, His problem was so many cfg files he set the wrong one.

Make sure your loading the correct cfg file. If you like post your server shortcut and the corresponding cfg file your using.
