Thank you for the forums all, I've found them very useful in trying to set-up a game server. I've got the game up and can go into the game, but while loading I seem to be getting a lot of errors. I copied the server.cfg that you posted for another person just recently and changed the line in the icon properties for the Spearhead Demo as was shown.

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro on a dual AMD Athlon 1600+MP, 1 gig RAM, Geforce 3 Ti200

Please help.

What errors are you referring to? Are you running the dedicated server.exe or are you running it from inside the game? Those hitch warnings are normal.

Like Hollywood says the Hitch warnings are normal. The only other problem is that since you set the g_gametype and sv_maxclients in your config you will need to restart the server before those settings will apply. Just type Restart in the console.
