I have the mixed mode server running successfully - no pk3-method. I zipped this up, copied it over to Linux and applied the Linux-stuff. However, the server will start loading, but not comletely. First, I have to perform a mapchangemanually and only then the server is running... is there anything different with the Linux-server? - All I do to start is ./moh_lnxded
Any ideas?

Oh... and I just figured that it will not cycle maps at all... hmm.. this is the exact same copy as for my working Windows server.

I think that there are at least two things you must specify on the command line for the server to actually start serving up a map automatically:
./mohaa_lnxded +set g_gametype 2 +map dm/mohdm1
Change those settings to be the ones you want for your server. There are a ton of other command line options you can use too. One you may want to consider is:
+exec server.cfg
It allows you to execute a file full of settings that will tailor the functioning of your server. Certain options must be specified on the command line, like any changes to the game server log file, but everything else can go in the server configuration file. The execution of the server configuration file should be the last command line argument for best results.
I hope this helps.

Yes, thank you, that was it. Appearently, not all maps obey to the timelimit I put in the server.cfg. For cycle testing purposes, I put a 2 minute timelimit per map, but for example Omaha will run 10 minutes notwithregarding.
