Scrolling Text and Popup...

First let me say, great website being an admin of serveral servers we need a place like this. Bang up job....

Ok my question I like the scrolling text, but for some reason I cant get it too work...I was testing and entered exactly in this format..

set sv_scrollmessage1text "Welcome to The DaDs Army server, for ne maps and rules visst www.thedadsarmy.org ."
set sv_scrollmessage1colour "blue"

I didnt even change the text, I just wanted to see the results and it didnt work no matter what I tried, can someone help out here...

This was actually answered in another post. The reason for this is because there's supposed to be a pk3 mod to go with that. I'm assuming the author is scorpiomidget, but as of now I dont' think anyone has it. DogMeat, on the other hand, is trying to incorporate that mod into DogTagz, so I would just wait for that.

If it is just a message you want people joinig the server to see, there is also the method of editing the localization file. There's a post in out forums at the link below with directions for doing that. We use it on all 5 servers we have and it works great.
