Server Shortcut

Since noone about OBj/RB CFGS and the q3 plugins.
Im guessing noone knows about the shortcut you can create to a server.
I created this for DaDs as we lazy gits :)


To create a shortcut to the server do the following.

Create a new icon on your desktop for mohaa
You may already have one copy it and call it DaDs or somfin.
Then hightlight the new Icon and right click and click on PROPERTIES in the MENU in the TARGET SECTION paste this line of text replacing the XXXXX with the password issued .

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\MOHAA.exe" +set cl_playintro 0 +set ui_console 1 +set password XXXXXXXX +connect 199.103.180.11:12206

Below i have pics of the Shortcut on desktop and where the command line is and then all you do is double click on it and your ont he server in not time :)

Just one Question, if you are an admin to a server, is there a way to place the rconpassword in the target line also, and if there is, what is it?

nice bit of info! I was actually just gonna ask if anybody knew if you could add a connection string to your moh shortcut!!

BTW... reason I wanted to know? I think we can use php to lauch your MOH and connect you to a server when you click a link on a web page!! Well.. I got my fingers crossed at least.

I tried using the Rcon thing never got a shortcut working and as we were convinced there was a limit to rcon users logged in I never tried it again.


Tho this website does rock :)
